THE AUSTRALIAN 1990 Proof 3 Coin "Family of Precious Metals" Series One fine ounce of each Gold, Platinum and Silver For auction is a beautifully crafted Gold, Platinum and Silver proof series of 3 coins showing various Australian fauna in profile. This set is numbered 27 out of a maximum 1000 sets produced by the Perth mint in 1990. They are contained in a crafted Jarrah felt lined presentation box and comes with the original Petrh Mint protective clear plastic capsules The set comprises: One fine ounce Gold-Grey Kangaroo One fine ounce Platinum-Koala One fine ounce Silver-Kookaburra *These are genuine proof gold coins at purity of 99.99, and are all in flawless condition. They have not been removed from their Perth Mint protective cases while in my possession. Any apparent blemishes are due to a poor camera/dust on the outside of the capsule-the coins themselves are in brilliant pristine condition! *The photos do not do justice to the craftmanship in the intricate detail displayed on the face of the coins.
