German Nazi 5 Mark 1939-D Silver Bullion Swastika WW II Picture(s) and Description:

This auction is for a Nazi German silver 5 Reichsmark with large swastika struck in 1939 with rare mint mark "D" : All fine details of the Reichseagle, large swastika, wreath, Paul von Hindenburg, all alphanumerics and edge markings are clearly visible. The edge engravings are in strong strike and very legible. The rim star and stems show good detail. This is a large silver bullion coin made of 90 % pure Silver. The reverse features a highly-detailed Nazi war eagle clutching a large, wreathed swastika. German Chancellor Paul von Hindenburg is depicted on the obverse. Diameter: 29 mm. Weight: 13.88 grams. The rim is engraved with the Nazi runes “The public good before self interest”. The coin is about the size of a Kennedy half dollar, but thicker and heavier. A historical item of significance, as well as an investment in silver. As per eBay rules, this item cannot be sold in Germany, Italy, France, or Austria. Please check out my other auctions.
