jimhaagenson Store US CURRENCY 1953, 53A, 53B $5 SILVER Old Paper Money VF We have here a very nice set of three different U.S. SILVER CERTIFICATES $5.00 U.S. Notes. They are the Blue Seal $5.00 bills from the 1953, 1953A and 1953B series, a bonus for any small note collection. Book value for these notes is $55.00, but retailers and Shop at Home TV often charge more just because they are so popular and they just don't make blue seals anymore. The notes are problem free with no writing, holes, tears etc. The notes show normal wear and handling. All have good color and are fairly clean with full edges and corners. One has some light blue spots on its front side. With some light folds, wrinkles and light soiling on each I'd rate these notes at Choice Fine to VERY FINE, but you be the final judge with the photos. You can enlarge the photos.
